Aluminum facades: Solid, Durable and Functional architectural solutions for investments

Construction investments are not only about shaping space, but also striving to create structures that will stand the test of time. Aluminum facades they constitute not only a distinctive architectural aesthetic, but also solid foundations for durable buildings, providing a number of key strength features.

(I.e. ->Resistance to all conditions: Aluminum facades are created to withstand a variety of weather conditions. Their design guarantees resistance to wind, rain, UV radiation and changing temperatures, which makes them an ideal choice for buildings exposed to extreme climatic conditions.

🛡️ ->Durability over time: Aluminum as a building material is exceptionally durable. Aluminum facades are resistant to corrosion and oxidation, which ensures that the structure does not lose its quality or appearance even after many years of operation.

🌡️ ->Thermal efficiency: Construction investments also require energy savings. Thanks to thermal insulation technology, aluminum facades provide excellent thermal insulation, reducing energy losses and ensuring optimal thermal comfort inside the building.

💧 ->Water resistance: Appropriate construction and the use of seals make aluminum facades waterproof, protecting the interior of the building against moisture and water ingress into structural structures.

???? ->Wind resistance: The solid structure of aluminum facades makes them windproof, which is extremely important in buildings with higher heights, where the wind force can have a significant impact on the stability of the building.

Construction investments require not only solid foundations, but also flexibility in adapting to various requirements. Aluminum facades, as a key architectural element, offer not only durability and strength, but also a variety of different types of glass, which gives them additional functionality and aesthetics.

???? ->Transparency and aesthetics: The variety of types of glass, from ordinary through glazed, to glass with increased acoustic or thermal insulation, allows you to create facades that harmonize with the design assumptions and aesthetics of the building.

🔒 ->Safety and security: Tempered, laminated or anti-burglary glass ensures not only the aesthetic appearance of facades, but also the safety of residents and users of the building.

🌞 ->Optimal use of light: Thanks to the possibility of using glass with UV or sun protection filters, aluminum facades can control the amount of light reaching the building interior, ensuring optimal conditions inside the rooms.

???? ->Acoustic insulation: Glass with increased sound insulation is an excellent choice, especially in urban areas, ensuring silence inside rooms even with intense noise from outside.

By adding a variety of types of glass to aluminum facades, we not only emphasize their aesthetics and functionality, but also adapt them to the unique needs of each project. Our facade solutions allow you to choose from various types of glass to create facades that not only look impressive, but also meet the highest insulation, aesthetic and safety requirements.

Aluminum showcases at Brzeska Street

Aluminum showcases at Brzeska Street

“In a certain city in the southern part of Poland, dynamic events began to shake the urban space. Aluminum display cases, associated mainly with commercial buildings, suddenly became the heroes of the town. Astonished passers-by noticed how their surroundings, i.e. new shops and cafes, began to gain a new face thanks to the impressive aluminum display cases. These innovative solutions not only attract attention, but also introduce a completely new quality to everyday life. Who is responsible for this? 😉 The extraordinary properties of aluminum, such as lightness, durability and aesthetics, have become a new standard, winning the hearts of residents and transforming the city into a truly modern oasis. Let's take a closer look at these unusual aluminum showcases and discover how they affect our everyday life, adding a note of fascinating modernity to it.

Aluminum showcases, also known as glass showcases, are window constructions consisting of a frame made of aluminum and a glazed surface. They are widely used in architecture, both commercial and residential, due to their many advantages. The quarters can be designed as opening windows or entrance doors. Aluminum showcases are often used in shop windows, office buildings, hotels, restaurants and other service facilities. They can also be used in residential construction, both in single-family and multi-family houses.

Aluminum systems give us extremely wide and deep variants of execution, thanks to which, as DOOR Filipek, we are able to PRODUCE:

-> aluminum windows,
-> external aluminum doors (entrance),
-> internal aluminum structures,
-> fire-resistant, anti-burglary or smoke-proof doors and windows,
-> glazed aluminum facades of buildings,
-> winter Gardens,
-> pergolas,
-> terrace roofing,
-> sun protection such as blinds, facade blinds, screens.

Aluminum showcases are characterized by lightness, strength and durability. Aluminum is a low weight material which makes it easy to assemble and handle. At the same time, it is very durable and resistant to corrosion, which makes aluminum display cases durable and can be used for many years. Additional advantages of aluminum structures are aesthetics, the possibility of painting in a very wide range of colors, taking into account various types of varnish surfaces, functionality, as well as acoustic and thermal insulation. The ease of constructing inclined or bent profiles and sections is also an advantage and a solution for demanding projects.

Aluminum window and door constructions in SMS Rzeszów

Aluminum window and door constructions in SMS Rzeszów

We enjoy projects where we have the opportunity to participate in the development of young and talented people. Recently, we had the opportunity to cooperate in the production, delivery and assembly of aluminum joinery to Rzeszów.

In the implementation we have made:

->Aluminum and glass facades MB-SR50N,
->Internal MB-45 aluminum doors and walls,
->Internal fire resistant aluminum door MB-60E EI,
->Internal fire-resistant aluminum walls MB-78EI
->Interior aluminum fire door MB-78EI,
->MB-79N aluminum windows with ventilation function.

The photos show the state in progress. Panes with solar protection properties and increased acoustic insulation were used in the external joinery, both in aluminum windows and in glass facades. An interesting solution for the aluminum facade was the use of a special type of glass with a ceramic print, thanks to which it is possible to make any graphic on the glass at the customer's request. The entire process of making glass sets consists in preparing an appropriate graphic file, cutting and processing the glass, printing and, depending on your preferences, adding special properties of the glass, such as tempering or combining individual panes of the set. Each print is precisely crafted with attention to detail for a decorative effect like never before. You can print on glass with dimensions from 3 to 19 mm and dimensions from 150 x 350 mm to 2200 x 4000 mm.

-> Printing resolution can be up to 1440 DPI (i.e. the length of one inch, the printer puts 1440 dots).

The print is highly resistant to weather conditions, does not emit toxic fumes and is resistant to mechanical damage or abrasion. Therefore, this method can be used both inside and outside the building in the form of table tops, balustrades or advertising panels.

Another glass wall in the second twin building at BSAG is ready. The anthracite profiles of the mullion and transom façade and the dark composite stopsol graphite glass are a harmonious composition shown in the pictures below. In the products made, such as glass façade walls, aluminum entrance doors and PVC windows, the type of glass used is of great importance. What type is it and what properties does it have?

Stopsol glass is a type of glass that has been specially designed to reduce the amount of heat and UV radiation that penetrates windows. It was created to provide protection against excessive heating of rooms, and at the same time allow light to flow inside. Stopsol glass has a metal or metal-oxidizing coating that reduces the amount of solar energy that penetrates the glass. This coating is applied to one side of the glass during the manufacturing process.

Stopsol glass is available in different colors that affect its properties and appearance. The most common colors are:

->Stopsol Classic Bronze reflective glass: bronze tint glass that provides protection against excessive heat and reduces the amount of UV radiation.

-> Stopsol Super Silver Clear reflective glass: glass with a silver tint that provides very high protection against excessive heating and UV radiation.

->Stopsol Dark Blue reflective glass: blue-tinted glass that provides protection against excessive heat and UV radiation, while giving the room a cool look.

->Stopsol Classic Clear reflective glass: a glass with a natural color that provides very high protection against excessive heat and UV radiation, while giving the room a bright and modern look.

Appropriate selection of glass thickness makes it possible to use it for all types of aluminum and PVC windows and doors.

Stopsol glass is used in construction, especially in the case of large glass surfaces, such as building facades, shop windows or conservatories.

Aluminum doors and windows in a layer of insulation

Aluminum doors and windows in a layer of insulation

A large investment requires, among other things, hard and solid work, proper control and organization of work. The following investment is a return to the past by several years, in which we had the pleasure of using aluminum window, door and facade systems. This facility is proof that we are able to perform the most difficult tasks and concepts presented to us.

Window installation outside the walls is a window installation technique in which the windows are mounted outside the building's wall, instead of inside. This solution is often used in modern buildings to gain more space inside and provide better thermal insulation. Installation of windows outside the walls consists in placing the windows on special assembly consoles, which are fixed from the outside of the building wall. This installation is more costly than traditional installations, but it provides better thermal and acoustic properties, as well as more space inside the building.

Installation of windows outside the wall, i.e. in the insulation layer, is an installation method that almost entirely applies to this investment and the following products:

In addition, we made and installed:

Installing windows outside the walls has several advantages, including:

  1. More space inside the building: Since the windows are mounted on the outside of the wall, they do not take up space inside the building.
  2. Better thermal insulation: Windows installed outside the walls are usually equipped with additional seals that prevent heat loss from the building.
  3. Better sound insulation: Installation of windows outside the walls allows for an additional layer of sound insulation, which is especially important in noisy urban areas.
  4. More light: Outside-wall windows are usually larger than traditional windows, which means more daylight enters the room.
  5. Aesthetics: Installing windows outside the walls can give a building a modern look and also allow for better use of the space outside the building.

Despite these advantages, installing windows outside the walls can be more costly than traditional installations and requires specialist knowledge and skills to ensure proper installation.
