In accordance with the requirements laid down in the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of April 12, 2002 on the technical conditions to be met by buildings and their location (as amended), fire doors and windows, designed to be installed in openings in the vertical separating elements of the building, should be designed and constructed to ensure that, in the event of a fire: preventing the fire from spreading, limiting the spread of fire and smoke in the building to other rooms and zones, limiting the spread of fire to neighboring facilities, enabling the evacuation of users by limiting the level of heat radiation, ensuring safety and facilitating the actions of rescue teams.
