All-glass or panel doors are a proposal for the most demanding users. Due to modern technical solutions and original appearance, they can be not only a functional and durable entrance to the house, but also a showcase and decoration. External doors are made of extruded aluminum sections based on the MB-70, MB-86 and MB-104 Passive systems, which guarantees high quality and accuracy of the frame and sash profiles.

The filling panels are available in many different designs and colors. The techniques of making milling cutters of various shapes, decorative applications and the insertion of insulated glass used in their production give countless combinations and variants. Thanks to this, doors with their use can be used both in modern homes and in classic-style architecture. However, they always constitute a beautiful entrance to the building, which attracts attention and adds charm to the entrance façade. The door fillings are made of durable and weather-resistant materials. External elements are often additionally covered with layers of special varnishes or contain epoxy resins in their surface, thanks to which the panels retain their presentable appearance for a long time.

In all-glass doors, the outer pane is properly adapted to the dimensions of the door leaf, which allows it to be glued to aluminum profiles with a special mass that guarantees reliability and tightness, thus covering the aluminum profiles, creating a glass coating on the entire surface of the door. The aluminum profiles that make up the frame are also covered with thin glass panes, thanks to which the entrance to the house or apartment takes on the effect of a uniform glass wall.

Glass as a filling or an insert for panel doors and for all-glass doors can be mass tinted in any RAL color or give the effect of a mirror reflection. The maneuvers regarding the type and properties of glass are unlimited, so the preferences of our customers regarding the appearance and visual aspects can be satisfied one hundred percent

Parameters and properties

Technical data and parameters:

  • Frame / sash depth: 70 mm (MB-70), 77 mm (MB-86) and 95 mm (MB-104 Passive)
  • Filling panel thickness: 22 - 95 mm
  • Maximum leaf dimensions: L up to 1400 mm, H up to 2600 mm
  • Air permeability: Class 4, PN-EN 12207: 2001
  • Water tightness: from Class E900 (900 Pa), PN-EN 12208: 2001
  • Wind load resistance: from Class C5 / B5, PN-EN 12210: 2001
  • Thermal insulation: Ud from 0,90 W / m2K (for MB-70 Aero with a 70 mm panel), Ud from 0,63 W / m2K (for MB-86 Aero with 77 mm panel) and Ud from 0,44 W / m2K (for MB-104 Passive Aero with a 95 mm panel)
  • RC2 anti-burglary class

Although doors made of aluminum profiles are considered "cold", it is only an impression - the modern technology of sections in combination with insulated glass and decorative panels filled with polyurethane foam allows to obtain a product with very good thermal parameters and a low heat transfer coefficient Ud from 0,44 W / m²K.

A big advantage of aluminum doors are excellent anti-burglary parameters and acoustic insulation, as well as resistance to weather conditions. Doors made of this material do not deform as a result of high sunlight or the action of water. The load-bearing structures of the MB-70, MB-86 and MB-104 Passive system profiles create a light and stable product with very good acoustic parameters and guaranteeing water and air tightness, which has an extremely important impact on comfort in use and costs related to the heated or an air-conditioned room.

Equipment and safety

From the safety point of view, the entrance door can be equipped as standard with a three-point lock (locking in three places), unlocked with a key and with the use of a handle on both sides of the door. It is the most common and most frequently used solution, however, technological possibilities in the modern world provide us with extremely innovative solutions.

It is possible to fully automate the front door with a smart home system. Thanks to this, we receive information anywhere in the world whether our doors are closed or open, and if necessary, open them remotely. Being there, there is an option to open the entrance with a fingerprint reader, a hidden button, a card reader or the use of a keypad with an access code, or to open the door with a smartphone or even a face scanner installed in the door. For such an automatic solution, the use of a handrail is recommended. In this case, the triggered signal opens the door, and our task is to pull or push the door leaf towards ourselves without having to press the handle. A huge selection of various types of handrails, e.g. recessed into a door panel or a simple surface with additional wooden elements, gives us countless options for configuring the door from the point of view of the visual effect. For your fuller convenience, we are able to offer you a door opened with a motor that automatically opens and closes the front door after receiving a signal. Some of these solutions can be viewed and tested in our showroom.

The aluminum entrance door is characterized by both an elegant appearance and high technical parameters, and taking into account the available dimensions of the structure and the possibility of using the door in a larger display case, they give a lot of freedom in arranging the entrance to the building. They should not only blend in with the body of the house in an interesting way, but also harmonize with the window joinery or the color of the tiles. However, it is also important to take care of its equipment, which ensures the safety of the household members. It is an ideal proposition for people for whom home means much more than just a place to live.

Assembly

Remember that external doors should first of all be matched to the openings in the wall designed by the architect and made by the bricklayers. It is worth knowing that the models offered in standard sizes are cheaper than those with non-standard dimensions. In single-family housing, wings with a standard width of 90 cm are perfect - they can accommodate almost all items and furniture that we intend to bring into the house or apartment. Wider ones are much heavier - apart from the higher price, one should also remember that their fittings, handles and hinges will wear out faster, they also require much more frequent adjustment. Therefore, when choosing a door, it is worth considering the preferred method of installation. There are several possibilities:

  • installation in the wall, the so-called raw (anchoring + foam)
  • installation in the wall (anchoring + foam) with the use of a vapor barrier tape from the inside
  • installation in the wall (anchoring + foam) with the use of a vapor-permeable tape from the outside
  • installation in the wall (anchoring + foam) using a vapor barrier tape from the inside and a vapor-permeable tape from the outside
  • installation outside the wall in the insulation layer

The most frequently chosen method is the installation in the wall with the use of mounting foam around the perimeter of the structure and covering it and protecting it against nuisance weather conditions (e.g. sun, wind, rain) with a vapor-permeable tape from the outside. Thanks to this, we gain a durable and safe installation of the entrance door, and thanks to the vapor-permeable properties of the tape, moisture from the inside has a chance to get outside the building.
